COORG, in Karnataka is a natural beauty with coffee and tea plantations dotted with Areca palms and spices. The land is very fertile and enjoys lots of rainfall. The climate is also pleasant and conducive to the very typical planting seen in that area. The river Kaveri starts in this region and has religious significance.
The site spread over 23 acres is undulated land with native vegetation and a huge water pond at the low end of the site. It is surrounded by Coffee plantations and fields. The local landscape flavour is continued inside the site. The existing landscape on site is retained in most places. Sensitive native planting is followed with a strong emphasis on preserving the natural feel of the site. This project has got the Preliminary LEED gold certificate.
